sedition, a casual slipper
left for someone to slide on
cleanup not included, why
they say it’s just a demonstration, a statement, an ethos
history shattered
a flag bearing bars
that split souls in half
but it’s all casual
a rowdy time, like grabbing a beer in Munich
except for the cleanup
putting a soul together again requires instructions
that no one wants to write
they’re too busy leaving their slippers out
