Brandon Bennett

 

Brandon is a twenty-two year old student of Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University, a Support Worker, and EIC of BRAG Writers. His work consists largely of a struggle and acceptance of the absurd, addiction, and a celebration/ search for Being. His heritage spans from Polish, Chinese-Guyanese, Arawak, to middle England. Previous publication includes the Wood Street Writers 2019 Anthology ‘no beginnings no ends’ which is dedicated to Walt Whitman in celebration of his historic links to Bolton. Influences include Ted Hughes, Charles Bukowski, Anne Carson, Andrew McMillan, Kerouac, Ginsberg, and Adam O’Riordan.
