Sue Spiers

Please don’t blame me for a lack of decorum,
I speak as I find and wear what I like.
I don’t attract men who make up the quorum
of shag, marry, kill or she must be a dyke.

It’s not what I look like or how I behave
you can take to inform your current perception
of whether I’m good or vastly depraved;
not every intercourse leads to conception.

The words that I use most often and freely
are personal expressions not up for debate.
I can’t say I care for ‘all touchy and feely’.
Though not a virgin I’m now celibate.

It doesn’t matter what you think of my virtue.
Observation may help, you’re free to deduct,
your opinion is valid, so think as it suits you.
What I’m trying to say is I don’t give a fuck.
